Dixie Drive is deemed outdated and costly to upgrade. The $1.8 million project will be funded primarily by a $950,000 state grant and the township's general fund, with no police levy funds involved. If approved, construction is expected to take 180 days, with a completion target before 2026. The property at the new location has been owned by the township for several years.
