High Ridge Center Reopens as Community Hub for Black Greek Letter Organizations
The High Ridge Center in Ellicott City has reopened after renovations, serving as a hub for Howard County's Black Greek Letter organizations. The facility features dedicated offices for each organization, multipurpose rooms, and continues to host the Head Start program for children. A lease agreement allows NPHC Howard County to use the upper level for $1 from March 1, 2026, to February 28, 2027. Future renovations will include a geothermal energy system and improvements to the playground.

The High Ridge Center in Ellicott City reopened in December 2025 after renovations, now serving as a community hub for Howard County's Black Greek Letter organizations and continuing to host the Ellicott City Head Start program. A lease agreement has been established with NPHC Howard County for the upper level at a nominal fee of $1 from March 1, 2026, to February 28, 2027.
The facility boasts dedicated offices for each organization and shared multipurpose rooms. Planned future renovations include a geothermal energy system and upgrades to the Head Start playground.
