Hong Kong aims to promote widespread adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) through a new Committee on AI+ and Industry Development Strategy. The committee will focus on life and health technology and embodied AI.

The InnoHK Research Cluster has funded 16 AI labs, and the HKD3 billion AI Subsidy Scheme has approved 30 applications in various fields. A HKD10 billion fund will support innovation in emerging sectors.

Additionally, a national manufacturing innovation center will be established, focusing on semiconductor R&D, to attract global talent. These initiatives align with the 15th Five-Year Plan for economic and industrial modernization.
