Humber Freeport has introduced an Investment Prospectus designed to attract up to £3 billion in investments and generate 5000 jobs over the next ten years. The initiative identifies approximately 600 hectares of investment-ready sites in Hull, Goole, and Immingham, benefiting from various Freeport incentives.
Since its launch in 2023, over £2 billion worth of investments have been secured. Projects include LanzaTech's sustainable aviation fuel facility and Metsä Tissue's planned tissue paper mill, anticipated to be the largest in the UK.
The region's industrial infrastructure and renewable energy capabilities position it as a critical hub for investment and energy security. The prospectus aligns with local growth strategies, aiming to strengthen community opportunities.
