Hunan Approves Investment Adjustments for Three High Voltage Grid Projects
The Hunan Provincial Development and Reform Commission has approved adjustments to three high voltage transmission projects in Hunan province. This includes changes to the 500 kV transmission line associated with the Miluo power plant, which was originally approved in March 2025.
The project involves the renovation and expansion of four outgoing line bays and a 117 km transmission line, with an initial investment of CNY949 million. Adjustments are being made following a route change to avoid farmland. Additionally, changes were approved for the 500 kV Hunan Yuezhou transmission line project due to the separate implementation of the 220 kV Jiaqiao substation bay expansion by State Grid Hunan Electric Power.
