Hungarian Army Receives Lynx KF-41 Infantry Fighting Vehicles
The Hungarian military is enhancing its defense capabilities with the integration of Lynx KF-41 infantry fighting vehicles. This procurement supports the Defense Forces Development Program, aiming to modernize the army and establish Hungary as a leader in European defense manufacturing.

Hungary is set to receive a total of 218 Lynx KF-41 infantry fighting vehicles, with 172 units currently under production in Zalaegerszeg. The vehicles, equipped with a 1,140-horsepower diesel engine, advanced communication systems, and a 30-mm autocannon, are designed to improve combat effectiveness and soldier safety.
Specialized training sessions are underway to ensure operational readiness as units arrive. A simulator hangar is being constructed in Hódmezővásárhely to provide advanced training in a digital environment. Hungary's role as the first user of the Lynx system positions it as a significant player in the European defense landscape, mitigating risks associated with reliance on foreign military technology.
