HyOrc Validates RDF-to-Methanol Technology in India for European Deployment
HyOrc Corporation has completed an independent validation of its RDF-to-methanol pilot unit in India, crucial for its European expansion. The successful trial supports HyOrc's strategy to establish methanol production facilities in Portugal and Bulgaria, aligning with increasing demand for alternative fuels.

On April 15, 2026, Bureau Veritas confirmed the successful validation of HyOrc Corporation's RDF-to-methanol pilot unit in India, achieving a 'Satisfactory' result. This validation encompassed the entire process chain, from RDF preparation to methanol condensation, with no recorded non-conformities.
The achievement supports HyOrc's projects in Porto, Portugal, and Varna, Bulgaria, which aim to utilize the validated technology. The Porto facility will be HyOrc's first commercial deployment in Europe, following partnerships and secured permits. The increasing demand for alternative fuels in shipping underscores the significance of this technology in the energy transition.
