India and Russia Sign 15 Agreements; Nuclear Expansion Announced

During the 20th Annual Summit in Vladivostok, India and Russia exchanged 15 agreements, including a plan for Russia to build 20 nuclear power plants in India. Key areas of focus include trade, energy, defense, and maritime connectivity.
A new maritime route linking Chennai and Vladivostok was proposed, enhancing regional cooperation. The agreements also cover cooperation in oil and gas, mining, and space exploration. Modi expressed gratitude for the 'Order of Saint Andrew the Apostle' awarded by Russia, highlighting the depth of the India-Russia relationship. The Eastern Economic Forum will include a 'Russia-India' dialogue to further economic ties.
