India Disburses ₹155.54 Billion in PLI Incentives for Electronics Manufacturing as of December 2025
As of December 31, 2025, India has disbursed ₹155.54 billion under the Production Linked Incentive scheme for electronics, significantly boosting domestic production. The scheme has attracted over ₹2.16 trillion in investments and generated ₹20.41 trillion in production across 14 sectors, with electronics contributing to ₹2.45 trillion in output. Government initiatives aim to strengthen the semiconductor ecosystem and improve logistics for enhanced competitiveness.

India has disbursed ₹155.54 billion in incentives under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme for electronics as of December 31, 2025. The scheme has led to an incremental output of ₹2.45 trillion from 59 companies in the electronics sector.
Overall, PLI schemes have attracted over ₹2.16 trillion in investments and produced ₹20.41 trillion in goods while generating employment for over 1.439 million people. The government also aims to build a semiconductor base and improve supply chain resilience through complementary initiatives and infrastructure projects like PM Gati Shakti and the National Logistics Policy. Incremental production across all sectors under PLI stands at ₹420.58 billion for the financial year up to December 2025.
