POWER GRIDS & TRANSMISSION
Iran's Energy Ministry is set to inaugurate 243 power projects with a total investment of about 550 trillion rials ($1.1 billion) during the Ten-Day Dawn anniversary. The initiatives, announced by Tavanir's deputy for planning, aim to improve the national power grid, prevent generation bottlenecks, and enhance voltage levels.
Over 130 critical projects are already under construction, with more than 300 trillion rials ($600 million) allocated. The projects will increase transmission substation capacity by 4,385 megavolt-amperes and sub-transmission capacity by 3,328 megavolt-amperes, adding 1,325 circuit kilometers of new lines.
