Izmo Limited's subsidiary, izmomicro, has entered India's defence electronics sector, engaging with key defence organizations. The move aligns with India's focus on domestic defence manufacturing, supported by a record defence budget of ₹7.85 lakh crore for FY2026-27 and policies promoting indigenous technology. The Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative and the India Semiconductor Mission further enhance opportunities for local semiconductor production.

Izmo Limited's subsidiary, izmomicro, has announced its entry into India's defence electronics sector, collaborating with government and private defence organizations to offer semiconductor packaging solutions for critical electronics. This strategic move positions izmomicro within India's defence modernization efforts, where the defence budget has reached ₹7.85 lakh crore for FY2026-27, enhancing prospects for local manufacturers.
A policy shift mandates that 75% of capital spending be sourced from Indian firms, reducing imports and boosting domestic production. The Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative and the India Semiconductor Mission, with ₹76,000 crore allocated for a domestic semiconductor ecosystem, further support this trend.
