Japanese Firms Pietro, Revo International, and Ecos Launch UCO Collection Initiative for SAF Production
Japanese firms Pietro, Revo International, and Ecos have initiated a project in the UK to collect used cooking oil (UCO) from Pietro's restaurants for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production. Ecos will manage the project's construction, while Revo International will handle the collection and delivery of UCO to SAFFAIRE SKY ENERGY, part of a joint venture that converts waste cooking oil into domestically sourced SAF.

Japanese firms Pietro, Revo International, and Ecos have launched an initiative in the UK to collect used cooking oil (UCO) from Pietro's restaurants for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production. Ecos will oversee the project's construction, while Pietro will supply the waste cooking oil.
Revo International is responsible for collecting the UCO and delivering it to SAFFAIRE SKY ENERGY. This joint venture, comprising Cosmo Oil, JGC Holdings, and Revo International, produces domestically sourced SAF from UCO. The waste cooking oil will be recycled into SAF through various processes.
