Jiang Jianfeng Leaves MIT for Peking University to Advance InSe Semiconductor Research
Jiang Jianfeng, a prominent chip scientist known for his work on two-dimensional indium selenide (InSe), has transitioned from MIT to Peking University. He aims to enhance China's position in post-silicon semiconductor technology. Jiang's notable contributions include pioneering wafer-scale production of InSe films and demonstrating superior energy efficiency of InSe transistors compared to silicon. He plans to recruit a research team to focus on low-dimensional semiconductor electronics in alignment with national priorities in AI and computing.
