Jilin Electric Power Co. Signs MOU with South Korean Clean Energy Company on Green Fuel Procurement
Jilin Electric Power Co., Ltd. has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with South Korean clean energy companies to enhance cooperation in green fuel procurement, focusing on green hydrogen products like green ammonia and green methanol. This agreement aims to address climate change and promote a low-carbon energy transition, while also facilitating the development of a China-South Korea clean energy supply chain. Jilin Electric Power seeks to expand its international presence in the green hydrogen sector as part of its broader strategic goals.

On January 5th, Jilin Electric Power Co., Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding with South Korean clean energy companies during a high-level visit from South Korea to China. The agreement focuses on green fuel procurement, particularly in green hydrogen-based products such as green ammonia and green methanol.
Both parties aim to enhance cooperation in the green hydrogen sector, address global climate change, and promote the transition to low-carbon energy. Jilin Electric Power, as an investment platform under the State Power Investment Corporation, plans to expand its international presence in the green hydrogen industry. This MOU will facilitate the development of a China-South Korea clean energy supply chain and promote Chinese green technologies globally.
