Karnataka's Global Innovation Alliance (GIA) is set to introduce the GIA 2.0 framework at the 'Bridge to Bengaluru' event on April 17, 2026. This initiative has established partnerships with more than 40 countries and supports over 2,000 startups through 60 collaborations.
The new framework will deepen sectoral partnerships and improve outcomes in emerging technologies. In 2025, Karnataka attracted over ₹12,500 crore from 30 Global Capability Centres, with investments from SAP and Google.
The region leads in semiconductor design, contributing around 40% of India's output. The upcoming dialogue will involve 75 countries, enhancing relationships within the tech sector and setting the stage for the Bengaluru Tech Summit in November 2026.
