The Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has launched a recruitment platform for former US Forces Korea (USFK) personnel to connect with Korean companies in the United States. KCCI and the Korea-US Alliance Foundation (KUSAF) signed a memorandum of understanding to facilitate this initiative, which involves 21 participating companies, including Samsung Electronics and Hyundai Motor.

The platform will address workforce challenges in sectors such as semiconductors, energy, and robotics. KCCI will manage the platform while KUSAF promotes it among US service members. This initiative aims to strengthen ties between the US and South Korea by providing career opportunities for veterans and supporting Korean firms' hiring efforts.
