Kimberly-Clark Corp. is investing $800 million in a new manufacturing facility on 560 acres in Trumbull County, Ohio, expected to create nearly 500 jobs. The plant, the first built in the U.S. by the company since the 1990s, will serve 117 million consumers and has over 150 positions anticipated to be filled by year-end.
Alongside this, Lake to River Economic Development reported exceeding goals in 2025, with capital investments over $860 million, creating 685 jobs and generating over $104 million in tax revenue. The region aims to leverage growth in competitive sectors, including semiconductors and artificial intelligence, to further enhance economic performance. The ongoing partnership with JobsOhio is expected to drive long-term investments in the area.
