LEGO Group began sales of set 40955, a model of the Maersk Dual-Fuel Container Vessel, on March 1. This buildable replica of the ANE MÆRSK is the world's first large methanol dual-fuel ship, which lifted its first green methanol in 2024.
The model promotes awareness of shipping's energy transition, featuring 'All the Way to Zero' decals. The collaboration underscores the significance of public engagement in environmental issues, aiming to enhance the perception of methanol as a cleaner fuel and drive investment in alternative fuels. LEGO's partnership with Maersk dates back to 2014.
