The Livingston County EMS Substation in Putnam Township commenced operations on Wednesday, improving emergency response times for local residents. The facility is situated at 3260 W. M-36, close to the Township Hall and Fire Department, significantly enhancing service to the southwest corner of Livingston County.

The project was supported by the Livingston County Board of Commissioners and involved collaboration with Putnam Township public safety. This marks the first EMS base established in Putnam Township in over 30 years, aiming for continued partnership in emergency services for the community.
