Ludoil is in exclusive talks to acquire Italy's largest oil refinery, Priolo, from GOI Energy. The deal aims at gradually decarbonizing the plant and producing low carbon products like sustainable aviation fuel and bioethanol.

GOI acquired Priolo in 2023 from Lukoil and is seeking exit due to dissatisfaction with crude supply terms. The Priolo complex is crucial for Italy, representing nearly 20% of its refining capacity.
