Lydian Opens 25,000 SF R&D Center at Hood Park in Boston for Sustainable Aviation Fuel Development
Lydian has inaugurated a 25,000-square-foot R&D Center of Excellence at Hood Park in Boston to advance its technology for converting waste CO2 into sustainable aviation fuel, aiming to reduce lifecycle emissions by up to 95%. The facility supports Lydian's objective of launching a commercial-scale demonstration plant by 2027 and is expected to create 40 new jobs over the next three years. This expansion aligns with Massachusetts' efforts to promote innovative climate solutions and job growth in clean technology.

Lydian has opened a 25,000-square-foot R&D Center of Excellence at Hood Park in Boston's Charlestown neighborhood. Founded in 2021, Lydian is developing technology to convert waste CO2 into low-cost sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), reducing lifecycle emissions by up to 95%.
The facility will support the company's goal of launching a commercial-scale demonstration plant by 2027 and may lead to the addition of 40 new employees over the next three years. Hood Park has become a hub for clean tech and life sciences, housing companies like ArkeaBio and Indigo Ag.
