MacLean Power Systems and Power Grid Components have finalized their merger, becoming a significant force in electrical transmission solutions. Blackstone Energy Transition Partners and Centerbridge Partners are now major stakeholders in the new entity, which will operate under the MacLean Power Systems name. The merger allows for the integration of PGC's product portfolio, enhancing the company's offerings in the electrical infrastructure sector. Leadership transitions include Steve Scharnhorst as CEO and Mike Plaster as President.

MacLean Power Systems and Power Grid Components have completed their merger, with the combined entity named MacLean Power Systems. Blackstone Energy Transition Partners is the majority owner, with Centerbridge Partners also investing.
This merger consolidates one of North America's largest suppliers of utility equipment, incorporating PGC's product lines such as Allied Bolt and Vizimax. Steve Scharnhorst will remain as CEO, while Mike Plaster will serve as President, focusing on commercial and operational activities. The merger aims to enhance support for critical grid infrastructure and meet growing electrical infrastructure demands.
