Managem Group to Invest $750M to Boost Gold Output to 500K Ounces
Managem Group plans a $750 million investment to increase gold production by 134% to 500,000 ounces by 2030. This expansion follows a 384% profit increase to over $322 million in 2025, driven by rising gold prices and production growth.

Morocco's Managem Group aims to double its gold production to 500,000 ounces by 2030, backed by a $750 million investment. The company reported a 26% increase in gold output last year, reaching 213,000 ounces, and a significant jump in net profits, primarily fueled by a 44% rise in average gold prices to $3,445 per ounce.
Managem plans to initiate two major projects: the Eteke project in Gabon, targeting 60,000 ounces annually by Q4 2028, and the Karita project in Guinea, projected to produce 200,000 ounces from 2029. Additionally, the company is expanding into natural gas with a stake in Sound Energy Morocco, aiming for gas production by June 2026. These developments could enhance Managem's market position, which has already seen its market capitalization rise significantly.
