Micron is transforming the White Pine Commerce Park in Clay, NY, into a semiconductor manufacturing facility. To address emergency response needs, the company is working with local police, fire, and EMS agencies.

Micron plans to have on-campus emergency response teams and aims for a response time of under five minutes for all incidents. The company will coordinate with Clay Fire and Syracuse Fire for fire emergencies and local law enforcement agencies for security.

Additionally, Micron will fund training for volunteer firefighters from the Clay Fire Department and nearby agencies to aid in workforce support. The project is projected to create 50,000 jobs, primarily in construction and operational roles.
