MikroE Develops Robotic System for Automated Embedded Design with Renesas Partnership
MikroE is creating a robotic system for its Planet Debug platform to automate embedded design development. The system will enable swapping of Click boards and microcontrollers for optimal configurations, leveraging an AI model within the NECTO IDE for code generation. Renesas is the first major semiconductor partner, aiming to support 500 existing microcontrollers. The project aims to reduce development time significantly by automating hardware and software testing.

MikroE is developing a robotic system for its Planet Debug system to automate embedded design development. This system will allow developers to swap Click boards and microcontrollers, assessing various peripheral combinations.
The NECTO IDE's AI model generates code based on user-defined parameters, achieving 99% accuracy in outputs. Renesas, the first major semiconductor partner, has engaged in a multi-year deal to support 500 microcontrollers, recognizing the value of incorporating MikroBus technology. The robotic system also facilitates in-house testing of hardware and software configurations, streamlining the development process.
