Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Ltd. has achieved the removal of 2,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide in fiscal 2024 as part of its Environmental Vision 2.2, which aims for net-zero emissions by 2050. The company has set a target of 2.2 million tonnes by 2030, employing carbon credits and a mix of natural and engineered solutions, including afforestation and direct air capture technologies.
