Mobarakeh Steel Initiates Projects for Green Steel Production in Iran
Mobarakeh Steel Clean Energy & Power Industries Company is advancing green steel production in Iran through significant investments in renewable energy, including the construction of the country's largest solar power plant with a planned capacity of 600 megawatts. Currently, 120 megawatts are operational, with full capacity expected by next year, alongside plans for a 200-megawatt wind farm in Khaf to support Sangan Steel Company. The initiative emphasizes reducing emissions and mitigating the environmental impacts of steel production.

Mobarakeh Steel Clean Energy & Power Industries Company aims to produce steel while reducing emissions through solar and wind energy projects. The company is constructing Iran's largest solar power plant with a total capacity of 600 megawatts, of which 120 megawatts are operational.
Plans are in place to complete the second phase of the solar plant by the end of this year, with full capacity expected by next year. Additionally, a 200-megawatt wind farm is planned in Khaf, Razavi Khorasan Province, to support Sangan Steel Company. Mobarakeh Steel prioritizes green steel and has invested extensively in renewable energy to mitigate environmental impacts associated with steel production.
