Naftoport Gdańsk Achieves Record Oil Throughput in 2025
In 2025, Naftoport handled 37.4 million tons of crude oil, primarily from Saudi Arabia, Norway, the USA, and West Africa. The Baltic Pipe remains a key source for natural gas imports, with LNG terminal in Świnoujście also contributing significantly.

Naftoport in Gdańsk recorded a throughput of 37.4 million tons of crude oil in 2025, with Saudi Arabia supplying 50% of imports. Norway and the USA are crucial alternative sources, complemented by Nigeria and Guyana.
In March 2026, Naftoport processed approximately 3 million tons of crude oil and nearly 0.5 million tons of finished products, marking a 13% increase from February 2026. The Baltic Pipe and the LNG terminal in Świnoujście are vital for gas supplies, with the terminal achieving record throughput of nearly 6 million tons of LNG, primarily from the USA and Qatar.
Diesel imports constitute over 39% of Poland's demand, mainly sourced from Germany, Lithuania, and Slovakia. Risks include reliance on specific suppliers and geopolitical factors affecting energy security.
