Najran Cement Contracts Sinoma International for $13.04 Million Power Grid Project
Najran Cement Company has contracted Sinoma International Engineering for a $13.04 million power grid project for its Sultana plant. The project aims to enhance energy efficiency and reduce emissions, with an expected completion in 8 months. This initiative supports the liquid fuel displacement programme, which aims to replace one million barrels of liquid fuels by 2030.

Najran Cement Company has signed a contract valued at 48.93 million Saudi riyals ($13.04 million) with Sinoma International Engineering to develop a power grid connection project for its Sultana plant. The project, part of the liquid fuel displacement programme, aims to enhance energy efficiency and reduce emissions, with completion scheduled in 8 months.
In July, Najran Cement also contracted the National Electricity Transmission Company to build a transmission station for the plant with a 67 MVA load capacity. The displacement programme, launched in August 2024, targets a reduction of up to one million barrels of liquid fuels by 2030.
