NATO and Accenture Sign €200 Million Contract for Digital Transformation
Accenture has secured a €200 million contract with NATO Communications and Information Agency for the Protected Business Network program, a pivotal initiative aimed at enhancing NATO's digital infrastructure over the next seven years. This partnership with Leonardo will provide a secure, cloud-enabled platform for approximately 29,000 users, reinforcing NATO's operational capabilities and commitment to technological advancement.

Accenture and Leonardo have entered a €200 million contract with NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) to implement the Protected Business Network (PBN) program over seven years. The PBN will modernize NATO's digital architecture with a secure, standardized cloud operating model, enhancing agility and resilience against external threats.
The initiative aims to support around 29,000 users across the Alliance by facilitating rapid deployment of digital services. It includes the adoption of a Zero Trust Architecture, utilizing Leonardo's Global Cybersec Platform to ensure high-level cybersecurity. This agreement, signed at the NATO Summit Defense Industry Forum in Ankara, Turkey, marks a crucial phase in NATO's digital transformation strategy, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in maintaining a technological edge.
