NDDC Initiates Emergency Electricity Upgrade Project with Income Electrix
The Niger Delta Development Commission has begun an emergency upgrade of its headquarters' electricity supply, handing over the project to Income Electrix. The aim is to connect the headquarters to a reliable power source from the Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company to reduce diesel consumption. The project includes constructing a 33KV double-circuit line, installing a new distribution substation, and upgrading existing transformer systems.

The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has initiated an emergency electricity supply upgrade at its headquarters, officially assigning the project to Income Electrix. This intervention aims to connect the headquarters to a more reliable power source from the Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company.
The project scope involves constructing a 33KV double-circuit line, installing a 1.5MVA distribution substation, upgrading an existing transformer, and enhancing the feeder switchgear. NDDC officials emphasized quality execution and monitoring, while Income Electrix committed to meeting project timelines and standards.
