NEXTCHEM Secures €485 Million Contract for Fertilizer Complexes in West Africa
NEXTCHEM, through subsidiaries Stamicarbon and KT Tech, has secured contracts worth €485 million for the development of three large-scale industrial complexes in West Africa. Two facilities will produce granulated urea, and one will co-produce ammonia and methanol. The contracts are based entirely on NEXTCHEM's proprietary technologies, with €10 million allocated for engineering activities recognized pre-FID, and the remainder to be recognized upon the Final Investment Decision.

NEXTCHEM, part of MAIRE, has obtained contracts valued at €485 million for the provision of licenses, process design packages, and proprietary equipment for three large-scale industrial complexes in West Africa. Two complexes will focus on granulated urea production, while one will integrate ammonia and methanol co-production, utilizing NEXTCHEM's proprietary technologies.
The contract includes €10 million for engineering activities recognized prior to the Final Investment Decision, with the remaining funds recognized later. The urea facilities will feature advanced hydrogen, ammonia, and urea production technologies, enabling an annual capacity exceeding 3 million tons of urea and over 900,000 tons of ammonia.
