Noida International Airport Inaugurated as Catalyst for Uttar Pradesh's Economic Growth
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the Noida International Airport at Jewar, calling it a 'launchpad' for the state's economic growth. The airport, which will begin operations with one runway and plans for up to five, aims to boost investment, trade, and employment. Adityanath highlighted its strategic connectivity and integration with major infrastructure projects, emphasizing its role in transforming Uttar Pradesh's identity on the global aviation map.

It connects to major infrastructure projects like the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and aims to attract investments in sectors such as manufacturing and logistics. Groundwork for a semiconductor manufacturing unit and multiple industrial clusters is underway.
The project is expected to create significant employment opportunities and improve Uttar Pradesh's access to global markets. Around 13,000 acres were acquired for the airport with support from local farmers.
