ONEIC Secures $83 Million Contract for Sultan Haitham City Grid Station in Oman
Oman National Engineering & Investment Co. (ONEIC) has won an $83 million contract from Oman Electricity Transmission Co. to construct a 132/33 kV grid station in Sultan Haitham City. The project, valued at 32 million Omani rials, has an 18-month duration starting from February 22. Sultan Haitham City will accommodate 100,000 residents and includes extensive public space.

Oman National Engineering & Investment Co. (ONEIC) has secured an $83 million contract from Oman Electricity Transmission Co. (OETC) to build a 132/33 kV grid station at Sultan Haitham City.
The contract, worth 32 million Omani rials, has a duration of 18 months from the award date of February 22. Sultan Haitham City will cover 14.8 million square meters, housing 100,000 residents with nearly 20,000 homes and over 2.9 million square meters of public space. Last year, the first phase included seven packages valued over OMR 206 million for various infrastructure developments.
