Paras Defence Secures ₹80 Crore DRDO Order for Air Defence Optical System
Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd has received an ₹80.28 crore order from DRDO for a high-precision optical system, expected to be completed in 18 months. The company reported a 21.3% increase in net profit for Q4, totaling ₹18.2 crore, with a revenue rise of 24%. Additionally, Paras Defence has ventured into the semiconductor sector with a new subsidiary, focusing on advanced packaging technologies.

Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd secured an ₹80.28 crore order from the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) for a high-precision optical system intended for air defence platforms. The project will be completed in 18 months.
In its recent financial results, Paras Defence reported a 21.3% increase in net profit to ₹18.2 crore and a 24% revenue increase to ₹106.4 crore. The company has also launched a subsidiary, Paras Semiconductors Private Ltd, to establish an advanced semiconductor packaging facility, targeting AI and high-performance computing applications. Shares of Paras Defence were down 3.38% at ₹724.05.
