Pertamina Geothermal Energy Reports Record Green Electricity Production of 5,095 GWh in 2025
PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk. (PGEO) achieved an all-time high green electricity production of 5,095 GWh in 2025, a 5.55% increase from 4,827 GWh in 2024. The growth was supported by a higher load factor and an additional 55 MW from Lumut Balai Unit 2. PGEO's installed capacity rose to 727 MW. Despite a 14.2% decline in net profit to US$137.69 million, net revenue grew by 6.29% to US$432.72 million, with significant contributions from various geothermal power plants.

This achievement was aided by a 55 MW capacity addition from Lumut Balai Unit 2, now operational since June 2025, bringing PGEO's total capacity to 727 MW.
Key production contributions came from Kamojang (1,806 GWh), Ulubelu (1,617 GWh), and others. PGEO's net profit decreased by 14.2% to US$137.69 million, while net revenue rose 6.29% to US$432.72 million, primarily driven by sales from Kamojang. Four projects planned for 2025-2029, with a total investment of over US$1.09 billion, aim to add 215 MW of low-emission capacity.
