Peru Expands Airlift Capacity with Beechcraft King Air 360C Acquisition
Peru is enhancing its airlift capabilities by acquiring a Beechcraft King Air 360C, expected to enter service in 2028. This acquisition supports evacuation, transport, and disaster relief operations, crucial for remote region accessibility.

Peru has finalized a deal for a Beechcraft King Air 360C to bolster its airlift operations, with the aircraft set to enter service in 2028. The twin-engine turboprop is designed for larger payloads, equipped with a cargo door, making it suitable for medical evacuations and humanitarian responses.
This follows the delivery of two multi-mission King Air 360C units to the Peruvian Air Force in November 2024. Additionally, the U.S. Department of State approved a potential $3.42 billion sale of F-16 Fighting Falcon jets to Peru in September 2025, aimed at enhancing airspace control. Peru’s defense modernization also includes exploring light combat aircraft, such as potentially acquiring South Korean FA-50 jets.
