Pfiffner Group, based in Switzerland, is investing more than $18 million to build a manufacturing facility in Franklin, Heard County, Georgia, focused on high-voltage technology for the power grid and railways. The project is expected to generate up to 60 full-time jobs over the next decade, employing engineers and machine operators. Operations at the new facility are scheduled to commence in 2027, contributing to the enhancement of Georgia's energy infrastructure.
