Pijush Hazarika Lays Foundation for Jagiroad Sewerage Project and Inaugurates Mini Stadium
Pijush Hazarika, Cabinet Minister and MLA of Jagiroad, laid the foundation for a sewerage project in Jagiroad and inaugurated a mini stadium costing Rs 12 crore. He noted the absence of a proper sewerage system a decade ago and highlighted recent infrastructure developments, including a paved road, a completed bridge over the Kapili river, a new railway flyover, and the Tata Semiconductor Project, which is expected to boost regional development.

Pijush Hazarika, Cabinet Minister and MLA of Jagiroad, laid the foundation stone for a sewerage project at Jyotikuchi in Jagiroad and inaugurated a mini stadium costing Rs 12 crore. He stated that ten years ago, Jagiroad lacked a proper sewerage system, but now significant projects are underway.
Recent achievements include the paving of the road from Jagibhakatgaon to Narengi, completion of a bridge over the Kapili river, and the construction of a railway flyover. The Tata Semiconductor Project is expected to enhance district and state development. The mini stadium is set to improve sports facilities in the area.
