Pima County Partners with University of Arizona and JSEDM to Enhance Semiconductor Industry
Pima County and the University of Arizona's Center for Innovation have partnered with Taiwan's JSEDM to expand the semiconductor industry in the region. The collaboration focuses on helping international companies understand the U.S. market, with JSEDM aiming to establish connections in the optics sector. The initiative is expected to create job opportunities and enhance supply chains for local businesses. The first cohort of 500 students will begin training in January, alongside the introduction of JSEDM's machinery in the fall.
