PITX Achieves Full Renewable Energy Operations Amid Energy Crisis
PITX has transitioned to 100% renewable energy to ensure operational continuity during the national energy crisis. This initiative, powered by geothermal energy from First Gen Corp., supports the terminal's goal to accommodate up to 60 million passengers this year while enhancing sustainability through electric transport solutions.

PITX is now fully powered by renewable energy, specifically geothermal energy supplied by First Gen Corp., ensuring stable operations amid the national energy crisis. The terminal is set to handle up to 60 million passengers this year under a 35-year build-transfer-operate contract managed by Megawide's MWM Terminals, Inc.
In addition to its renewable energy initiatives, PITX is introducing Xpress EV, an electric transport option, to further enhance sustainable mobility solutions. This integration of renewable energy with electric mobility may improve the overall commuter experience and operational resilience.
