Power Outage Affects 9,000 JCP&L Customers in Warren County, NJ Due to Downed Wires
A power outage caused by downed wires along Route 517 in Allamuchy Township affected approximately 9,000 JCP&L customers in Hackettstown, Independence Township, and Allamuchy Township. Crews restored power to about 8,300 customers by late morning, with around 100 remaining without service. The utility is currently undertaking an upgrade project in the area, which required manual intervention to restore power.
