In Q1 2026, PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGEO) achieved a net profit of $43.90 million, growing 40% year-over-year, and revenues increased to $116.56 million. The company reached an all-time high electricity production of 5,095 GWh in 2025, rising 5.55% from 2024, with Q1 2026 production up 15.22% to 1,370 GWh.
PGEO has three projects included in the Green Book 2026, with a total financing of $477.87 million from various international sources. These projects will enhance low-emission electricity supply and support Indonesia's energy transition. The OJK is promoting the Energy Savings Insurance (ESI) prototype to bolster energy efficiency projects and encourage sustainable finance, while the commercial insurance sector reported a 4.65% asset growth as of April 2026.
