Quantum Motion Opens European Office in nanoGUNE Quantum Tower, San Sebastian, Spain
Quantum Motion has opened its offices in the nanoGUNE Quantum Tower in San Sebastian, Spain, to enhance quantum system development in the EU. The facility, inaugurated on February 4, 2026, will support the company's efforts in scaling silicon-based quantum computing systems and foster collaborations within Europe's semiconductor and academic sectors.

Quantum Motion has established its European office in the newly inaugurated nanoGUNE Quantum Tower in San Sebastian, Spain, to support quantum system development within the EU. The tower was officially opened on February 4, 2026, with notable attendees including Basque Government officials.
This expansion aims to enhance collaboration in the semiconductor and academic sectors and facilitate the scale-up of silicon-based quantum computing systems. Quantum Motion is partnering with CIC nanoGUNE on initiatives like the QuDos project and the SPINS Consortium, focusing on developing fault-tolerant quantum systems and integrating quantum with classical electronics.
