Racing Bulls Launches New Fuel Cell Plant for Sustainable Motorsport in Faenza
Racing Bulls has inaugurated a fuel cell plant at its Faenza base, integrating a photovoltaic plant and Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) powered by certified biomethane. The facility, part of the 14,500-square-metre Racing Bulls Green Energy Park, aims to produce 4.6 GWh of carbon-neutral electricity annually, enhance local partnerships, and minimize environmental impact.

Racing Bulls has inaugurated a new fuel cell plant at its Faenza headquarters, marking a significant milestone in sustainable motorsport innovation. The facility includes a photovoltaic plant and a Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) powered by certified biomethane from local sources.
It is part of the 14,500-square-metre Racing Bulls Green Energy Park and is expected to produce 4.6 GWh of carbon-neutral electricity annually while entirely covering the site's heating needs. The project aligns with the sustainability goals of Red Bull, Formula 1, and the FIA, promoting local economic growth and reducing emissions.
