Rhoads Energy Initiates Biofuels Facility Construction in Lancaster, PA
Rhoads Energy has commenced construction on a biodiesel facility aimed at enhancing access to renewable fuels for home heating. This project is expected to significantly lower transportation costs and promote the use of cleaner burning fuels in the region.

Rhoads Energy has broken ground on a biodiesel facility at Red Rose Midstream in Rapho Township, set to open by late July 2026. The new infrastructure will enable direct pumping of 100% biodiesel from rail cars to tanker trucks, promoting lower transportation costs and enhanced reliability.
This development aligns with Rhoads Energy's commitment to delivering Bioheating oil, a blend that decreases carbon emissions. The facility aims to improve access to greener fuels, benefiting both homeowners and the environment by reducing air pollutants and increasing equipment efficiency. A USDA grant has been secured to partially fund construction efforts.
