Sai Bioenergy Ghana Private Limited is set to develop a 1,500MW solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant in Buipe, alongside a 250MWh battery energy storage system. The project will unfold in three phases: 100MW, 500MW, and 900MW, with the initial phase focused on constructing the battery system.
Additionally, the initiative includes a biogas/liquefied bio-methane plant processing 1,000 tonnes per day and plantations for energy crops over an area of 35,041.70 hectares.
