Saipem and Capsol Collaborate on CO2 Capture Technology for Industrial Applications
Saipem and Capsol Technologies ASA have signed a non-exclusive cooperation agreement to develop industrial-scale carbon capture projects, focusing on Hot Potassium Carbonate technology. This partnership aims to combine Capsol's cost-effective CO2 capture solutions with Saipem's expertise in complex energy projects to serve large industrial emitters. The collaboration builds on their existing work on a bioenergy carbon capture project in Stockholm and will involve joint bids and tenders to provide integrated solutions.

Saipem and Capsol Technologies ASA have entered a non-exclusive cooperation agreement to advance industrial-scale carbon capture projects, specifically targeting the Hot Potassium Carbonate (HPC) segment. The partnership aims to leverage Capsol's cost-competitive CO2 capture technology and Saipem's project delivery expertise to create integrated solutions for large industrial emitters.
This agreement builds on their prior collaboration for a bioenergy carbon capture and storage project for Stockholm Exergi, where Saipem serves as the EPC contractor. Both companies will also collaborate on selected bids and tenders to enhance their offerings in the carbon capture market.
