Sanlorenzo launched the second unit of its 50Steel superyacht in La Spezia, following the first unit, Almax. This launch reinforces the model’s position in the superyacht market, with all five units currently in production already sold to clients.
The 50Steel features a green methanol Reformer Fuel Cell system, converting methanol to hydrogen and then to electricity, powering onboard hospitality systems. A patented Hidden Engine Room (HER) layout optimizes space while maintaining a displacement under 500 GT.
The design combines architecture by Zuccon International Project with interiors by Sanlorenzo's Style Department, resulting in a highly customized superyacht. With this launch, Sanlorenzo aims to set new benchmarks in the industry, merging design, technology, and sustainability.
