This launch follows the first unit, Almax, introduced in 2024, and is part of five units allocated to clients. The 50Steel features a green-methanol fuel-cell system for onboard energy production and a patented Hidden Engine Room design that optimizes space for guest amenities.

Sanlorenzo launched the second unit of its 50Steel series from its La Spezia shipyard. This follows the debut of the first unit, Almax, in 2024. A total of five units are allocated to clients, positioning the 50Steel as a key player in the superyacht market under 500 GT.
The model incorporates a green-methanol Reformer Fuel Cell system for efficient energy production, converting methanol to hydrogen and electricity for hotel loads. Additionally, the patented Hidden Engine Room system reconfigures the engineroom layout, maximizing lower deck space for guest lounges. The exterior design is by Zuccon International Project, with interiors developed by Sanlorenzo's style department.
